Will Tint damage hair more than a semi colour?

Hi guys, have just had my hair done will well koleston 55/66 mixed with colour touch 0/68 looks fab! but what I'm wondering is will the tint damage my hair more than a semi? just I had been gettin semi for over 2 yrs and was just worried getting tint may damage it, as its such a vibrant colour I know it will need pulled through to ends a few times if not ever time?
It was bleached up 1st is a little more pourus but apart from that its fine.

Anyone? also do I actually need the 6%-20vol with colour or could a developer with a lower % be used ? Reason I am asking is just so I can just ask for it feel like a right pain questioning my newbie hairdresser friend and my drove my last hairdresser mental so much so she did'nt want to do this to my hair as she thought I would'nt like it but I do xx
