Sarah22 your salon is beautiful, it's one of the nicest iv seen on this thread. Well done

Wow that's such a compliment!!!!!! Thank you xx

Wow!! Very very nice! Is that an iPad on your wall?? If so where did you get the wall rack?!

Yes it is. I have an album of all the nails I've done and put it on sideshow when I'm
Prepping nails to give my clients inspiration. My polish racks are off eBay lol, they're avonstar xx

I meant the wall bracket for the iPad lol sorry :)

Hey Sarah
Firstly can I say how beautiful your salon is, very inspirational. I have been looking at using slogan stickers on my walls but I cant find many to do with beauty, can in ask where you got yours from? Thanks x

Awwwww you're so kind, thank you. Of course, eBay!! Lol. They were really cheap, I think the dearest one was £16!! There's SO many to choose from. You can also make up your own if you don't see any you fancy ;-) xx

Oh sorry!! I picked you up wrong lol. eBay... I'm wild for there and Ikea!! That's where I get most furniture and decor stuff for the salon to be honest. The iPad bracket is koala (it's the only one I could find that sticks onto the wall that you can slide your iPad into, all the rest had to have an attachment onto the back off your iPad which I didn't like). I think it was around £12 xx

What have you used as the back drop to your spray tan room? Id love a room just for spray tans. I hate my tent, putting it up packing it away cleaning the hole beauty room after every tan!

It's just black paint Jemima. The back wall is black gloss (my hubby thought it'd be best so it wouldn't look as grubby with the overspray as the wall would be shiny anyway. It's also a lot easier to clean). And the two black side walls are just black satin paint xx

Sarah is that just normal bathroom extractor fans u have in your tan area? How do you find they work?

Yes it is. The salon was finished 2 days before I got married lol so I just had to take what my hubby could get at the time. They're alright, not great to be honest. I had a bigger ceiling extractor fan in our old premises and it was far better. I find with these 2, there's quite a lot of overspray.

Thank you for that, I have quite often wondered if they would be any good for that purpose!x

Wow, I love that idea.

I was talking to my brother in law today and he was telling me he could easily make me 3 sheets of powder coated stainless steel to fix to the walls. He even said he can make a corrugated steel Sheet for the floor so it would be non-slip. He's a steel fabricator, and I have never used him for anything I've done before, so it's nice to be able to use a family members skill! I think it would work well and be easy to clean. Now to build a spray tan room somewhere lol I have plenty of room but the rear off salon needs a lot of work to make it acceptable to be walked through to access the space where I could put 2 rooms at the back. Ill have to post some pics and ask for suggestions.

Just done my home salon with my new branding & colour scheme. The red wall has glitter in the paint but the camera didn't pick it up :) x
