Hi! I began my beauty journey in January. Since having my son (nearly 3 years old) I decided my job as an audiologist just wasn't what I wanted to do anymore. I still do this 3 days a week while I'm building up my mobile business. I'm focusing on nails, SP lash extensions and makeup. My goal is...
Hi geeks! I took a nail art course related to Artistic Colour Gloss which is the product I mainly use. It was a great starting point but I'd really like to be shown more advanced techniques so I can then let my creativity flow ;) Any recommendations?
P.s a massive thank you for all the advice I...
I also got the non static tweezers which helped with holding the lashes. I set the lashes out on a pad first so much easier to get hold of. I agree about micro pore tape and then gel pad over this for the lowers. Good luck and don't give up :).
*blushes* thank you!! May be I'm being over critical then! Just want to make sure I'm giving my clients a good service. Have learnt so much from the lash geeks! Keep up the good work! Fabulous work here xx
Dyson do a really good one! It's quiet and really funky! Bit expensive (as dyson are!) but we have them at my other job where I'm an audiologist and need things to be quiet for my clients to hear us well :) hope that helps xxx
I use eyelash emporium products as trained with them and haven't strayed away as find them really good :) TBH, I came away from the training and left it for a few weeks as didn't think I could do it but after reading salon geek advice and a few YouTube vids, I was away! I think whoever you train...
I use eyelash emporium and really like them. Just bought some graduated colour mink ones to try! Super excited :) my client was actually choked up tonight as her outer lashes had never curled up and they looked so lovely after :)
I've got my make up artistry course this week! With 'The Makeup Girl' based in St Albans in Hertfordshire. Will keep you posted :) I was very disappointed in a different course I was booked on for a number of reasons, but they did look amazing (won't name names as unprofessional) x
Hehe! Glad it's not just me ;) it was a silver/grey artistic gel polish called metro and I mixed black and silver fine glitter from hobby craft and voila! X
