is what I am seeking!
I am just about to qualify for NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy, have a lovely room set up at home, have a few regular clients and really, really need to get my business off the ground as soon as possible.
I really love doing facials and will be doing advanced facial skincare treatments in Level 3 Beauty Therapy from September.
I have just trawled the skincare threads on this forum until my eyes are throbbing but still cannot decide what to do.
The message that comes across strongly is that you need to feel passionate and have real belief in your skincare range in order to promote it both professionally and profitably. I really don't want to go down the Kaeso/Eve Taylor/Jean Marin/Thai Spa type skincare ranges as so many beauty therapists in my area already offer these.
I cannot afford to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy into a really high end skincare range because as a home based therapist, there is a "ceiling" on what I can charge for a facial and I am concerned it won't be profitable enough for me. I also think my husband would have a heart attack if I spent £1000+ on skincare products and would probably divorce me
I guess I am looking for a mid-price skincare range...something that delivers results, is lovely to use and is packaged elegantly enough to sit proudly on the shelves of my room.
I know this has been asked a thousand times over but would really welcome your ideas on this very important issue.
Thanks all
