Acrylic removal

Hi Guys!

I hope you can help/clarify things for me.

I qualified in gel extensions so I don't do acrylic, my friend had her nails done at a discount salon but she doesn't want to go back there to get them removed and has asked if I can remove than apply just gel polish on her natural nails.

Is acrylic removed the same as gel extensions, acetone on cotton wool then wrapped in foil?

I'm worried the nail place she went to has used the wrong type of acrylic as I have heard a few stories of these nail places. Could any one help?

Even the worst quality of acrylic products can be removed with acetone. It will just take a LOT MORE time to do so.
You soak and file, soak and file, soak and file etc. You need to be patient but it’s the same procedure
