Hi everyone

As some of you geeks might be aware i had some bother with my tent and gun. We'll I got my replacement and that was also broke

I've decided to go back to the drawing board and start looking again.

I've read through loads of posts about guns, tents, extractors and gone through websites like sienna x, spray tan supermarket and my head is just pounding now.

I don't have that much money as i'm starting up in the local hairdressers and have been spending like mad to get my supplies in

But, i do realise (after my first experience of tents and guns) how important it is to have good equipment and be confident with it

Can anyone recommend any good deals out there at the moment.

I'm starting up anyday. Just waiting on one order coming in and i'm ready. I would really like to offer tans from the start. I've been stalling my advertising till i got my replacement tent and really don't want to keep things on hold any longer

Hi

Here's the original post - (its been going on a while now)

http://www.salongeek.com/skin-geek/90569-shadez-gun-tent-i-got-one-your-thoughts.html

My first tent was warped/faulty and about 2 foot of the ground at one side. the replacement tent i got the other day goes down but there is a crack in the frame. Everytime you put it down a huge crack noise comes from it and when the tent is up its not right But at least I can send this one back where as the other one will only fold in half

This has been going on since April and I've now not got the time to chase things, send letters, wait for replacements. I want to start taking bookings soon but this is holding me back

oh dear..now I remember...look have you tried to ring Rod direct 07841 261087 he is a reasonable chap and im sure would want to sort this out for you...if you want to Pm me your tele number I will happily give him a call for you tomorrow:hug:

On the tent well these are reasonably priced and sometimes just need a bit of a minor tweak here and there by bending the framework to get them strait..have you tried it yet?

Hi

Yeah, me and my boyfriend tried for a few hours. We mastered it and noticed that we did have to adjust the framework sometimes but thought the crack noise kept happening when we put it down right but spoke to a few fellow geeks that were online whilst this was happening and they said they don't get a crack noise.

We hadn't put it up properly when we unpacked it. We just wanted to know if it went down since that was the problem with the first tent

Rod has my number, he got back to me today and said i could get a refund.

I think i've just been unlucky

The problem with sprung loaded tents is that if you put them down the first time incorrectly..well they just never are quiet right

Glad that Rod has agreed to help you out somewhat
