At college we would use color:ID in the Wella colour and then use free lights as the lighter er...neither transfers or bleed...so I could merrily go about doing my Balyage to cover the roots and the rest of the hair all in one go.

My problem is thst I csnt get hold of color:ID, it's a direct acc product only. I csnt get hold of freelights lightened though.

BUT

I csnt very well do the Balyage in the same manor as my colour will seep /touch into the lightner.

So....

Do I do a 2 step process...ie, the full head of colour and then wash, blast sry and do the Balyage effect with lightner...which seems like. Long time

Or

Try to do the roots first all over
Then start at the bottom of the head and attempt to colour and lighten each triangle and sort of curl/mish a length of foil around each or every other bit....?

Or

An idea from You Lot....
