Habia will be back on the road in 2015 with its new format industry networking event "Afternoon Tea with Habia and Friends". The first event takes place at Wakefield College on Tuesday 13 January 2015.
The series of "Afternoon Tea with Habia and Friends" follows on from the success of previous events including "Big Conversation" and will involve a mix of essential industry developments, information and conversation for educators and employers.
As part of the event, Habia will be joined by a number of well-known influential people from both the hair and beauty industry who will be delivering a programme of informative, inspirational and motivational presentations.
Habia have announced today that Gill Morris, Industry Marketing Expert and Adam Sloan, Founder and President of the Mens Hair Dressing Federation (MHFED) will speak at the first event. Gill and Adam will both share their industry experiences with attendees, talking about their careers, successes, highs and lows along with sharing their wealth of knowledge.
Gill has been involved with the professional beauty industry for many years initially as a therapist and salon owner and then as an influential marketer for manufacturers and suppliers.
Adam Sloan has grown up in the hairdressing industry following in his dads footsteps and training to become a hairdresser himself and open his own chain of Big Yin Salons. Adam has worked as a session stylist, celebrity hairdresser, been the front of educational DVDs, won numerous awards including The LOreal Colour Trophy, and judged competitions. Championing male grooming, Adam is Founder and President of Mens Hair Federation (MHFED).
