Hi everyone! Thinking of opening a beauty product shop(as Sally,Capital etc)
Any ideas where to start from I mean where to get product from.

You would need to start with product manufacturers and approach them with your distribution proposition. Some manufacturers will do their own distribution and you have to be able to offer them a proposition that means you both benefit. If a manufacturer already has a distributor you need to sell them your proposition as a better one.....

The trouble with taking on the likes of Sallys and Capital is the size of them. If you're starting from scratch you cannot have a national distribution network instantly.

You will also need serious money behind you. You will need premises and enough capital to buy your stock from the manufacturer(s). You also need to decide whether you will sell to trade only or include the general public. You also need to think about whether you want a shop front or an online company. How will you deliver? Will you check someone is qualified before they can order? How can you manage prices so you remain competitive but also make a profit?

There's a lot to think about!
