Hi Cathil,
There are loads of Salon Software options available from free to pretty darn expensive.
What is it that you want to do with your software? Just book appointments in your salon? Do you want it to be a Till as well to take payments? How about online bookings, SMS Reminders, stock control?
I have worked with most of the systems out there from Premier Spa to Gumnut Systems and I know quite a bit about them. Happy to help point you in the right direction, but need to know a little more about what you need?

I currently use Shortcuts but they have just insisted we upgraded to Windows 8 pro. The reason behind this is so you have to use all their 'extra products' (they charged to upgrade too)
We used Hopewiser address finder (£50 a year) when we upgraded we couldn't use it and we have to use Shortcuts at (£199 a year)
I cant use an automated back up system because they block it so you have to use theirs. So we do it manually!:sad:
