Noooo....it's actually quite heavy when it's got the rice in. I just tied the 'arm' end with an elastic band so no rice escaped. It's great because you can physically pick each finger up and position it, just like you would do for real!
It's very creepily like a real hand lol (it made the rest of my family laugh anyway!)
