Amy Childs, star of The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE), today announced her team at Amy Childs Salon in Brentwood, Essex, will sign up to the Register of Beauty Professionals. The Register, overseen by SkillsActive (Sector Skills Council) and Habia, is designed to give assurance to the public and employers that members have the necessary qualifications for their work and maintain the highest professional standards.
Amy Childs Salon offers a full range of specialist beauty treatments including facials, nail treatments, waxing, of course vajazzles, made famous by TOWIE, and from Amys own tanning range, spray tans. Signing up to the register means Amys entire team will be recognised for the skills and qualifications they hold within their field.
Hannah Lapslie, manager of the Amy Childs Salon explained their decision saying, Our therapists are committed to maintaining standards of excellence in all of the treatments that Amy Childs Salon offers. Joining the Register for Beauty Professionals provides credibility and reassurance to our clients that our therapists are all qualified, reliable and skilled professionals. It is very important for us, our clients and indeed, the industry as a whole, that our therapists qualifications are recognised and regulated.
