Client Newsletters

Hi,
I'm looking into sending newsletters to my clients via e-mail to update them on new treatments, special offers etc..i usually do this by text but as i'm gaining more clients it is becoming too expensive. My question is to anyone who current sends newsletters via e-mail is how i can make it look professional? Does anyone use any software or anything to make theirs?

I use 'banners' and 'signatures' with links to my site and such. I play with the fonts and add pictures and what not.
It can all be done in Outlook (not outlook express YUCK).
Professionalism is all in the layout, and the message you deliver. (how you express yourself? business english vs slang).
