I really some help/advice.. I am currently taking over 3 new rooms and expanding my salon but i now want to employ someone but having been self employed for the last few years im not really sure on a couple of things so if anyone can help i would be very very grateful.. Help from emloyees and employers would be brilliant!!
1. What is the average starting wage for a beautician at the moment?? i am going to pay more than minimum wage of course but im just not sure what most people get.. i used to get £5 an hour and no commission or bonuses so im prepared to be very fair as i believe what i got was not great lol
2. What sort of commissions do you give staff?? or what do you get if your employed??
3. Do you give/get bonuses?? If so what??
Ive no doubt i will be posting alot more as im a complete newbie at employing and im sure alot of you have plenty of experience and advice and it is all very welcome
