hi im new to nails and i want to do a nail course that covers most aspects i have been looking and have found so many courses but im unsure as to which one to do do are they all good? do you need to do an nvq? which one is best im based in kent? is there any nail schools that are bad? also has anyone had any experiences with gemini beauty? any feedback would be appreciated thanks

What do you mean by all aspects?

You dont need an NVQ unless you are in specific areas where your council insist on a licence and they seem to think that the NVQ is the best thing since sliced bread and that in order to have a licence from them you need an NVQ.

IMO there are probably more bad schools than good schools so choose wisely.

Do a search on here for training.

My advice would be to do a foundation course with one company in Liquid and Powder and then add on gel etc. once you have mastered the L&P.

Companies to check out would be Creative (Sweet Squared in the UK), EZ Flow, NSI, OPI.

Check what you get for your money in terms of reputation, whether a kit is included etc. etc.

i would rather pay more for a good course but as i am new i do not know which are reputable companys and what ones to steer clear off thanks
