Desk lamp with fluorescent bulb?

I have just bought a desk lamp from Argos but it has an 11w fluorescent bulb, will this cause me any problems?

I would replace bulb with a daylight bulb.

daylight lamps are fluorescent tubes which is the same as what I have the only difference being the colour temperature so if you don't have any problems with yours then I should be fine
