hi fellow geeks, I am looking into buying an oxygen facial/microdermabrasion facial machine. I've seen one on eBay which looks ok but what do you think?

Whilst it looks amazing, It's coming from CHINA. That should raise red flags straight away.
Ultimately it is your choice but I think if you're asking on here you already have doubts and know its probably not a wise investment.

yes I do agree with you both and to be honest the spelling/poor translation made me question if it was a good idea? !
