Family photo shoot-panic stations

Well on Saturday we are having our first family photo shoot and I'm dreading it! I feel like such a plain Jane at the minute, my hair is boring my makeup is boring & I have no skill to do either lol. I don't even know what to wear.

If anyone has any tips on getting some volume in my hair or ideas of what I could do with it that would be great something quick and easy though as i probably wont have much time to make myself look decent with having two children to see too ha ha

I would if I could afford it lol. Also it's my partners friend doing the shoot & he's just starting out with studio at home so don't think he would have the contacts yet
