Hi all

I have my very first manicure on Wednesday morning and its the first time since I trained in 2005 that I have had anyone ask for it. Every client I have had has always wanted enhancements so I am a bit nervous.
Most people where I live only really get enhancements when there is a "DO" on and there are a small amount who actually want them all the time. I have moved 30 mins away from my old home and there are more people wanting treatments thanks to my friends sporting my work. I have a woman on Tuesday morning who normally got p&w gel who would like me to do a set of l&p stilettos just not as long as I had mine lol.
I am so excited to have someone who would like something other than the norm and I am looking forward to work being better for me here.

Sorry that turned into a longer message than I was planning to write.
Anyways back to the manicure situation is there anything I should catch up on since I last learned this treatment?

Thanks all
Angela

Hi Angela

Have a quick look over your manicure routine and perhaps your massage routine if you are including that. Other than that, take your time, relax and enjoy doing the service!

I would take the time to explain all the procedures and what products you are using to the client as you go along, they normally like to know what is going on!

good luck - hope it goes well!:)

Thanks Jules I have been looking over my notes and I have been repeating in my head all the steps I need to do.
This is just a standard manicure so I should be ok I practised on a friend but I forgot to give her some polish but I dont think she was that bothered she was more loving the hand and arm massage I was giving her lol

Thanks again I'll let you know how it goes

Angela xx
