GHD Eclipse

I can only find old threads on these, so wondered if anyone has an opinion on them? The general feeling last year was that they weren't worth the extra money, but they seem to have come down a lot in price now... Are they worth the £145? X

I have a pair. They are good for using on thick, course and curly hair to get it straight.They get good shine on the hair quickly. You can clamp more hair between the plates. However at my salon the girls prefer the regular GHD's for curling as the shape is easier to deal with for that. I would get one pair but wouldn't replace all of your irons.

Oh man! I've ordered some now - might have to send them back and get the normal ones!!
