Hi everyone, I just thought I'd share something I thought my benefit those of you who don't yet have a presence on the Internet, or those who want to get on the net cheaply.
When I logged into my facebook account the other day it gave me the option to choose a domain name i.e. www.facebook.com/beauty.salon for my profile. I thought this might be a good way of getting your business' name out there. For example, if you create a profile for your salon you can direct cleints to it with the specific domain name and encourage them to leave postive feedback and spread the word etc. Also, if you are unable to register a domain name for your business because someone else has already taken the one you wanted, you could use this as a way of getting your business' name in a facebook domain.
