We all know how irritating it is. A parent comes in, with a child, who then starts running around destroying your salon and your other clients' experiences, while the aforementioned parent sits reading Grazia. Even the most attentive parents are lacking in resources as soon as they are trapped in the chair while the stylist stuffs her head full of foils. It's an ongoing issue for salons - not just for the health and safety side of things - but one that an East London salon has found a great way of dealing with.

The salon posted, on a sign outside their door, the dark and dire warning that 'unattended children will be given a mullet'. Obviously, it's not true but it does make the point clear without having to tell adoring parents that their little snotbox is, quite frankly, a pain in the bum.

Great move. Savvy signs. We like a lot.

Until then...geek on!
