Hair extension hell

I glued in my extensions a while ago, and I took them out today. And I have huge knots with glue in my hair, I've tried about everything but I can't get it out. Am I goon to have to cut my hair really short? Or if I go to a salon can they try to remove the glue? Please help

Not sure were allowed to advise if not a hairdresser.
Best advice i would give however,would be to go to a salon and get it looked at by a professional.
