Hair extensions??

hello,
i have got bleach blonde hair and im going to dye it copper like ashlee simpsons hair. iv got blonde hair extensions and will dye them aswell.
the hair extensions come out a different colour than my hair? i know they are different hair and will grab differently. any advice?

I recently had my hair dyed a copper colour, and my extensions to match. My extensions came out alot darker! I guess because my hair was more processed? (Sorry I'm not a hair dresser)

However, I just washed them a couple of times in washing up liquid to strip some of the colour off and they lightened up ok!

The thing with your extensions are you have no idea what kind of hair they were before they were blonde. Chances they were very dark, and have been bleached to high heavens to get so blonde.

Just do a strand test on your hair and on your extensions and you'll know a bit better. x
