Hair: Where to train?

Hi hairgeeks, I've just slipped across from skin...

I'm thinking of training in hairdressing, so where is best place to train? I know local colleges are doing part time course, but is it possible to train with a private school/college? Which is better? I've tried searching online for Northern Ireland but can come up with nothing on that front. Any ideas or suggestions that can send me on the right road even?

I done mine with a college and found it great, I think that it's the tutor and not the place that gives you the education you need, and most importantly your dedication! Go to the college's and private schools within a distance you are willing to travel and ask them if you can see the facilities, their records etc.. If it makes u feel better.
