Hard skin on tops of toes?

Please can you offer some advise on removing hard, dry skin from the top of the toes during a pedicure. I use the microplane colossal on the heels and balls of the feet but it's too big for the tops of toes. What should I be using there? TIA x

I use a mini foot file? You could try that
