Client has been colouring her hair herself. (Not sure on brand) I've done all the correct tests. She is 100% grey, and currently has a dark red. She's after a 6.3.

Just would like some reassurance on what to use. Think I will try Rusk as I find they cover grey really well. I know I will have to use a different colour on the root to mid lengths.
Please help!

First of all you need to remove the red. How would you go about that?

Then you need to see what that will have lifted to.

You also need to tell us what base she currently is. And what sort of a red. A copper red, a mahogany red. Pillar box red?!

I would say she is a mahogany red. She wants a warm brown so was hoping to just place a deep basic colour on it and the warm tones from the red shine through. She is 100% grey so I know she will need a different colour on her root.

Will you not cleanse it?
