How do you find a room to rent?

As the title really! I put a post up on a beauty page on Facebook, but nothing has come up as yet. I was just wondering how those of you found your rooms to rent? There aren't that many salons in my area but I have approached most of them that I know of directly.

I called every hairdressers, beauty salon and gym in three towns. Just went through the yellow pages X
