Hey guys!
I have one client that loves the 3D look of having tons of LARGE gems, pearls, bows, etc on her nails. I've never had issues getting smaller gems to stay on my clients but am having trouble with the larger ones. I have tried two methods:
1: I put the gems into the gel top coat while its still wet, cure, then apply another top coat over all the gems to help seal them in. This method works well to make them stay, but it all that hoppy gel takes the "edges" and shine off the gems and has a thick final look.
2: I put the gems into the gel top coat while its still wet, cure, and brush a bit of extra gel onto the sides of the gems to seal them on. This method is a much cleaner look, but my client tells me they are falling off as early as the next day
Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Or links to a tutorial or video!
Thanks so much guys
