Hi all

The ITEC beauty course I took did cover make up. We had to do five case studies covering, day, evening and special occasion make up, one of mine included a bridal look. Also during the practical exam we had to apply full make up in front of the examiner.

In your opinion, is this enough experience to then be able to say you can provide a bridal make up service?

I have been scouring the net for courses in London/Surrey area. Most are terribly expensive, especially considering they are only for one or two days at the most.

I look forward to hearing all your opinions regarding whether I should just be brave and practice bridal looks on friends and research using books, or do most of you recommend going on to a course?

Cheers in advance

Hi

How confident are you when applying makeup?

Hi Chantell thanks for replying.

The make up I carried out during my exam was thought to be of good quality by the examiner, so my tutor told me after the exam.
I have applied make up to varying skin textures as I was at college with girls a lot younger than myself so their skins were lovely and smooth! My model for my exam was like myself in her 40's and she has quite sun damaged challenging skin to apply liquid foundation to, plus hooded eyelids which are tricky to apply eyeshadow to.

I personally prefer a less is more make up look but can also glam it up for the evening. What's your final opinon on the evidence given then? Thanks X
