Jane Iredale, one of the UK’s leading mineral cosmetics brands, has received a significant stamp of approval from The Skin Cancer Foundation. Five products from the natural makeup collection were given a Seal of Recommendation, a respected industry standard, which has governed the safety and efficacy of ultraviolet (UV) protection products for more than 30 years.

Amazing Base, PurePressed Base, Dream Tint, LipDrink and Powder-Me SPF in Tanned and Translucent will now proudly wear the mark. The products, which range from SPF of 15 to 30, are hailed as effective aids in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin, including sunburn and possibly premature ageing.

“About 90% of non-melanoma skin cancers are associated with exposure to UV rays, so we are thrilled to receive The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation in an effort to help spread awareness on preventable measures against this deadly disease,” says Jane Iredale, President and Founder of Iredale Mineral Cosmetics.
