Having gained a strong fanbase in its native France, beauty brand La Clarée has landed in the UK.

The brand, which includes professional and retail lines, was created by the son of Oliver Baussan who founded the L’Occitane brand more than 30 years ago. At the heart of La Clarée is a desire for greener and organic thinking: it is 98% natural and 30% organic. Furthermore, it is certified by ECOCERT and the packaging is wholly recyclable and non-polluting.
Nature has also been credited for breathing life into the brand, with La Clarée River in the French Alps region acting as the driving creative force behind it.

La Clarée might be new to the UK, but it’s not short of fans. Influential beauty expert Sarah Stacey, who is co-author of The Green Beauty Bible, is a self-confessed devotee. “My skin has fallen head over heels in love with all of the La Clarée products,” she enthused. “With my hand on my heart I can honestly say that La Clarée Oliv' Radiance Elixir is in my top five skincare products of all time. Wonderful for parched ageing skins, but so is the La Clarée Antioxidant Day Cream - I can't be without either.”

The range, which includes facial products, bodycare, gift sets and travel kits, is currently available in Urban Retreat, Harrods and an expansion within luxury beauty salons is on the cards.
