London Beauty Institute for Hair extension course?

Hi, im looking into doing a hair extension course to start doing my own business. I did want a home course as im 6months pregnant and have a toddler so would be easier for me, I've rang KM Hair Extension Training 3 times in the last 2 weeks and have been waiting for a phone call back about booking a course but no-one has got back to me.... I have found a course with the London Beauty Institute? does anyone recommend them or know if they are a good company to go with ? Thanks Savannah.

hi, ive heard and enquired about these before. They are not accredited so it is just a cerificate of attendance. keep tryin with a reputable brand to train with. check with a insurance company if they will accept the cerificate to insure you with

I trained with lush-us and found them to be really good, you can google them. Their course's are fully accredited by Habia and insurable, you do need a good understanding of hairdressing first. hth

I have done the London Hair extension course and please do not bother!!! It was dreadful, that’s all im saying.

I could also name a few more, but I did the km hair extension training course after doing the london hair one and it was excellent

I would recommend km hair extension training to anyone, they are fully approved, specialise in just training, very knowledgeable and insurable you get you trainers mobile number so pm me and ill pass it on to you

I suggest you go and get a hairdressing qualification NVQ2 at the least and then progress on to hair extensions. It is a NVQ3 module in hairdressing and is not a stand alone qualification. These courses that insist you dont need to be qualified first are operating due to a legal loophole.
You need to be able to cut and style hair well not just apply hair extensions.

I know this thread is a bit late but a warning to anyone wanting to do a course with the London Beauty Institute...Dont Bother! Very Very unprofessional! Their website looks quite nice but the real thing is a totally different story!

I did a hair extensions course at the London Beauty institute a year ago and i have to say that it was excellent. I have since built up a sucessful business and i have 5-8 clients per week. I was trained in a group of only 3 people which was good at the tutor got to see where our weaknesses were. We also did a live model within the course not just a block head. They gave me a suppliers list which gives me discount from certain wholesalers and details of insurance compaies. I would reccomend anyone to train here as they really do know what they are doing. :lol:
