Does anyone know if you can stock MAC Make up in your salon & if they sell it to you at Trade price?
Thanks

Hi

I don't think you can, although I could be wrong.... I wanted to stock it in my salon but when I enquired about it I was told I could only buy over the counter, so I ended up going and spending nearly £400.

I'll be interested if anyone responds with yes though, because we always get enquires for it.

Ang :)

How do make any money back from it though? Because if you are buying it at normal rrp & selling it at the same price how do u profit form it?
xx

The Mac pro card gives you a 35% discount on mac products for a year it costs £25 to buy and you need at leaast 2 forms of proof that you are working in the makeup industry, I think hairdressers can also get discount but its less than 35%.

Thats great thankyou! And where do i get hold of this card? x

There is a application form on the mac pro website you can download and post or you can get it from a mac pro store.

I too have the mac pro card. However you shouldn't re sell, should be from official store only. I would suggest you just send your clients there or get them to order online. X

Hi. Yeah they should tell you what you need ask them to email you the application form, then you need to provide 2 or 3 pieces of evidence which can be any of the following, CV with photo, editorial page, business card, professional certificates in makeup, business headed letter, or letter from employer if not self employed, there's a list but I cnt remember they should just send u the form if u ask xx
