French organic brand Melvita is set to grow its influence within the UK beauty market with the launch of a standalone store in London in November.

It plans to open a 675-square-foot store, inspired by Melvita’s Paris flagship (pictured) which opened on Rue de Rennes earlier this year.

A popular name at home and a rising international presence in the US, Hong Kong, Germany and Russia, Melvita launched in the UK in January this year and is currently available at retailers Whole Foods, Harrods and John Lewis. Said to use only the finest ingredients from organically farmed and responsibly harvested sources, Melvita's products for skin and body are ECO-CERT certified and has use of the Cosmébio label.

Based in Covent Garden, the store will follow its established environmental philosophy, which was set in stone by founder Bernard Chevilliat back in 1983. It will be built with environmentally friendly materials feature two ‘living walls’ and a ‘sky’ ceiling.
