Mini treatments

Hi been googling promotions and have seen alot saying instead of giving discount off, offer a free mini treatment onto a service. I am just wondering what people.do as a mini treatment in hairdressing? Obviously could do a deep condition treatment, head massage, any one do anything like this and what do you do?

Every so often we put a notice in the window offering a free conditioning treatment with every cut and blow dry. That worked sometimes to bring more clients to us x
