What colour brand do you use, is she looking for permanent or semi / quasi?View attachment 196785
Hi Geeks! Any ideas on this colour. I have a client with hair a base 6 virgin hair.
I am a wella user, but I'm sure the basics will be the same, obviously you want to achieve blue, so if you're using permanent I would add blue mix tone / intensifier to the shade you pick. Because you'll get a small amount of lift which will pull warmth. If you use a quasi /semi a blue based tint should be fine, as you'll get pure deposit!! . If it was me I'd go with maybe a base 3 and add blue!! Or if the client is confident that that's what she wants I'd go for a blue based 2 in a quasi, I honestly think that photo may be enhanced. But you can achieve that colour, it's just a lot darker than people realise! Don't forget to remind her that cool colour don't reflect light as much, so it may not always look blue!!I use Matrix also familiar with Swarzkopf. She wants permanent but maybe a tone on tone would do. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Hello how did it turn out? Im always experimenting...im looking to achieve this on my client saturday! Any recommendations? I will be lifiting roots to a level 10 so i have a nice even all over colour to work with! I watched the guy tang video where he used igora pearlescence but ive never used these before! Many thanksThank you. I was thinking along those lines. It's usually the bright blue clients like. In my 28 years of being a stylist haven't had a navy blue request before. [emoji106]
