We have a profitable opportunity for up to 34 local beauty salons only, please read on.
DABD (uk) are working in partnership with and Halls of Ivy Beauty Academy to deliver NVQ Level 2 Qualifications in Beauty Therapy.
We are looking for placements, however, the scheme is limited to 34 trainee beauticians so we will need to offer this opportunity on a first come first serve basis.
Each participating salon will:
· Receive a trainee beautician for minimum of 10 hours each week
· Trainee beauticians will be fully certified in Spray Tanning (HVLP) from day one
· Fully certified in Manicure, Pedicure and Eyelash and Brow Tinting & Shaping within 8 weeks
· Fully certified in Facials and Waxing within 12 weeks
· Fully certified in Facials, Strip Lashes and Party Lashes within 12 weeks
· Fully certified in Make Up and Semi Permanent Lash Extensions within 16 weeks
The training will take place in a BBC 3 Award winning Academy with the BBC Young Beautician of the Year Finalist.
All the training is accredited and recognised by The Guild of Beauty Therapists. The NVQs are awarded by VTCT, who have been established for over 40 years. VTCT are the major awarding body in the UK for S/NVQs in Beauty Therapy.
The weekly training day can be flexible to meet the needs of your business, (we are offering training 6 days per week).
All the training is completed in small groups of 6 by a private training academy to ensure that highest standard of training is received by the trainees.
Trainee beauticians will receive a VTCT Level 2 NVQ Beauty Therapy General.
We will be working with approximately 60 trainees to ensure that all 34 placements are filled with the most suitable, enthusiastic and reliable trainee beauticians.
There are various options available in regards to placing the trainee beauticians including:
· 0 hour contracts
· Part time 16 hours (this would include 6 hours training) £40 per week
· Additional Hours Each additional hour is £2.50 per hour, so you could manage their hours on a weekly basis to cover for busy periods, sickness and holidays
· Full Time 35 hours (this would include 6 hours training) £95 per week
We appreciate that you are a business and your costs need to be met with profit, this is why we are offering a scheme where the trainee beautician can provide treatments from their first day.
In addition we are also offering support from our MA CMCIPD qualified HR Manager to advise on any queries that you would have during the placement.
