Permanent acrylic?

I just popped into a new NSS salon that's opened up in town to get a price list, when I noticed that they offer 'American' and 'Asian' nails, and on the price list, they have 'Acrylic' and 'Permanent Acrylic' ... Does anyone know what this means please.... :?:

I think it's when they do french with White acrylic, so the tops are permanently White, I think :s

I thought that at first, but the price list states Pink & White as a treatment too.... very confusing!

ooh I've never heard of that, why dont you call in and ask them?

I'd be really interested to hear what it is. I cant see how any acrylic can be permanent though, because your nails grow and they grow fast, so any product would eventually grow out within a matter of weeks anyway.
