I'd love to know what other people do when they have clients for a tint with porous hair?

I've not found a good pre-service treatment and have heard lots of contrasting opinions from colleagues and tutors including: adding a conditioning treatment to the mix, adding oil or applying to damp hair. What do other people find work well?

Do you mean the lengths and ends(zone 2&3)? I would use a porosity equaliser and a quasi to refresh lengths and ends. Also it would depend on wether it loses just tone or depth and tone. Hth ;)
