Hi all,
As you all know we appear to be in the middle of a recession in the UK. Although having just set up a new business in the middle of it (I must be mad) im going ok. About as expected for a new business.
When i set my prices I obviously researched my "competitors" and priced accordingly. As a business owner i continue to regulary check competitors price lists, treatments and special offers.
What i have noticed is salons offering discounts, special offers, introductory offers etc. to entice customers more frequently.
Why then is it that my product supplier despite having the monopoly to distribute the product range have increased their prices and minimised content in some cases?
