Hey everyone,

I'm not sure what to do about my prices, please help! need advice!

At the moment i charge the same for both L&P and gel, but think i should be charging more for gel as the products cost more.
I also use custom blending but i dont charge any more for this at the moment. just wondering how you all work this out for each client. I'm worried that if i charge more for CB, clients will not want to have it.

I've also just started doing coloured gel, how much more do you charge for this on both fingers and toes, and when you do it on toes do you include a full pedicure? or just if they want it? (charged extra)

Sorry if that doesn't make sense! Getting myself confused i think

Looking forwar to replies!

Thank you muchly xxxx

Hi....

I think you should charge more for a custom blend....its a specialist service you are offering.

Don't be afraid to charge more for services like this....it often works in your favour....I don't know where i read or heard this....but....there was a man who painted pictures...he loved to paint.....and hardly charged a bean for them....he then decided that as he wasn't selling many he would try his luck and charge ALOT for them...£1000's infact...all of a sudden those same pics where more desirable and everyone wanted them.

Make your custom blends desirable...chage more.

Gel toes are charge £25 ...no pedi included.

Tip and overlay or sculpts are £40...rebalances are £25 - £30

First time NNO are £25 and so are the rebalances/infills.

Hey Tasha,
I charge an extra £5.00 for coloured or glitter gel on fingers or toes & all my clients seem happy enough to pay that. (usually £40 for gel nails, £30 for overlay & £30 for gel toes).
I just tidy up nails & cuticles when doing gel toes as if u do a full pedicure u have to use water which isnt great before doing gel.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies, think i need to change my pricelist! :)

How much more would you charge for custom blend? would you have one set price or depend it on each client and what you do on them?

x

Personally i would keep it simple to 1 price for custom blends.

i agree, i would keep it to one price for custom blends. i charge the same as any other color l&p for custom blends.
