Qualified for how long before you can teach?

Hi all

I’m considering doing my ptlls so I can teach but I’d like to know how long you have to be qualified before you can learn how to teach??

VTCT used to like assessors / beauty lecturers to have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience but I don't think it's set in stone.
PTTLS though is just a first step into teaching so I would imagine you could do this course with less experience.

I expect others on this forum will be able to tell you more.
