Rings cutting into hair?

Hi guys

Just a quick question, can certain types of micro ring and nano ring cut into the hair at all? I know micros are suppose to be better for the hair but I just wanted to check this point. Thanks ! X

Yes, I have had this happen once which was due to non silicone Nanos. Tighten it and it cut clean through the section of hair, I was mortified. Never used them since, stick to silicone lined would be my advice.
