A room has become available to rent in a busy hair salon. I am currently the nail tech at this salon but I will be leaving due to health problems. The salon is based on a busy high street with lots of passing trade, the salon itself is a thriving hair salon which also has a full time beauty therapist (she doesn’t offer nail services) so there is lots of passing trade through the salon. The village of Queensbury has a distinct lack of nail technicians (a couple of beauty salons offer nails but more as a sideline to their main treatments) so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to set up a successful business as a nail specialist

The room is available on a fixed weekly rental of £50 including business rates and utility bills, and is available with immediate effect.

Currently the nail room is fully equipped and furnished with my own fittings eg purpose built nail station with in built extractor, creative nail enamel racks & enamels etc. I intend to sell these, and if the new nail tech would like to purchase any or all of these I will be happy to offer a competitive rate. This means that the salon is available fully furnished if the new tech prefers. If not I will be selling the stuff on ebay.

I will be taking a small number of my long term clients on a mobile basis but I will be looking to hand over the majority of my business to the new tech. There is an established landline currently in the nail room which has appeared in the yellow pages, and I am happy to hand this over to the new tech if they wish to take it on.

I've sent you a pm. Because this is a fixed weekly rental, basically it is entirely up to you how many (or how few!) hours a week you want to work, you would be completely self employed and free to set your own working arrangements, prices etc. I've been working part time recently because thats what has suited me due to health problems, Justine (The salon owner) is really good to work with and doesnt try and tell you how to run your business
