Salon License

hi there, can anyone please tell me do i need a license to open a nail salon, i am a qualified technician and now thinking of opening a salon but not sure what io need, also someone told me i need a license to do pedicures on people!?!?! helen x x

It varies from area to area. Contact your local council who will let you know.

Usually its only ear piercing, chiropedists and masseurs that need a license, but as I say it will vary!

You should have gone thro this in your training. Each area differs, where i am you have to have licence for EVERTHING!

thanks for the advice girls, it wasn't discussed on my training but will give them a ring at the council on monday
