Shellac and crushed shell chips

hi all,

I've done a little search already but to no avail. I just wondered if anyone had used crushed shell with shellac? I'm thinking more than likely it would be to large/course, but thought I'd ask on here first just in case.

Fingernailfixer has. Not sure if she has a video but there is a pic in her shellac fun album on facebook. I saw it earlier whilst having a nosey! The description she put on it says to apply the same way as rockstars xx
