Myhairdressers.com is only £19.99 for level 2/3 NVQ/VRQ training until end of this month.
For any new students out there (or anyone getting back into hairdressing), I really recommend subscribing to this and just borrow any additional textbooks from your college library. The notes accompanying the units are well written and the video's are very detailed.
If you have an iPad/iPhone, you can view the detailed notes on colour/cutting angles etc. in Safari and then copy to iBooks or a notebook app to save, add notes to etc. I use the 'Notability' App and you can copy the blank head sheets to that and then draw on them your own comments, cutting lines etc.
It's an amazing resource and very good value.
Just thought I'd flag it up again as the price goes up in October.
If you're looking to buy a standard annual subscription, you can probably google a discount code. I think I paid about £70 for an annual subscription last year.
