Tanning booths..

heey I wasnt sure if this was a skin question.. but I wanted to know if anyone knows where I could get a tanning booth from.. an actual one where the client goes in and it sprays them. brand new OR second hand.. thanx xx:Grope:

I have a dual spray booth which does automatic and manual spray tans.
To be honest they are rubbish!
I've only ever done one in my salon and she didn't want another one-lol.
I used to use it as i had no-one to spray me but i trained my husband up.
It misses patches-every time. You have to come out and rub yourself all over with a glove to try and distribute the solution evenly.
I've never known one person who has had a good result from an automatic spray booth.
I've only ever been asked 3 times by clients to use the automatic booth.
I talked 2 of them into having a manual spray and the 3rd was as mentioned above.
I do about 50 tans a month and have found that people would rather have a manual spray.

Hiya. I've had a lot of experience with automated tanning booths, and I have to say I do not rate them. You have to hope that your client will follow your instructions to get the tan right.

Most of the time they forget what you have told them as soon as your out of the room!! You can not get a perfect tan in them.

They cost a couple of thousand pounds. Personally, I prefer a manual booth. X

ok, thanx for the replies.. which manual ones do you rate? and I was also thinking of putting a sunbed.. do you know where I could get one of those, second hand? xx

I've just ordered the Vani-t opus 1. Its fab, love the fact its got full extraction and looks really classy.

They do like you to use their spray. Give them a call and see what they say xx
