In line with a new wave of 'mood-boosting' beauty formulations, Temple Spa releases a new moisturiser which is said to capture ingredients closely linked with the act of celebration. Called Skin Truffle, it features an advanced complex called 'HappyBelle-PE', which is a combination of antioxidants, vitamins and phyto-endorphins, believed to mimic the feeling of euphoria.
It's been five years in the making for the brand, which recently opened a self-titled spa in the Cotswolds. Also inside the formula is a mix of decadent ingredients that people generally associate with pleasure: black truffles, pure gold and silk, alongside extracts of champagne, chocolate and strawberries.
Temple Spa's thinking chimes with the rise of so-called 'happy cosmetics', which experts say is a growing consumer desire for their beauty products to go beyond the surface and tap into all five senses.
